Air Flow Tests

Air Flow Tests

Clean room is a working area established in production or research studies, where temperature and humidity values are kept under control and ambient air is cleaned as much as possible from dust and other particles. Such areas can be entered with special garments and plastic gloves that do not produce dust.

In general, the expectations for the characteristics of the environment in the clean room are: the temperature should be between 20-24 degrees, the relative humidity should be between 50-60, the air velocity on the HEPA filter should be 0,45 m / s (percent 20 may be below and above), average percent 10- Positive pressure should be provided by providing excess air at the rate of 15 and sealing should be ensured on pans, doors and walls.

In the physical control of the clean room, temperature and humidity tests of the environment are made, particle measurements are made, differential pressure value is determined, air movements are controlled and air flow tests are performed.

The EN 13779 standard (Ventilation - Non-residential - Standard for performance specifications for ventilation and room air conditioning systems) covers the criteria for the design of ventilation and air conditioning systems for non-residential buildings. Necessary conditions such as indoor air quality, heating comfort and humidity in the clean room should be regulated in accordance with the EN 13779 standard. Therefore, air flow tests are important for clean rooms.

Air flow rate measurement is done by measuring the air flow rate directly with special devices. The total air flow rate is divided by the volume of the medium and the air exchange rate per hour is calculated.

During the environmental test studies, the current legal regulations and the relevant standards published by many domestic and foreign organizations are taken into consideration. In line with the needs of the enterprises, our company conducts air flow tests within the framework of environmental tests.

In the meantime, our organization, in accordance with the TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 General Conditions for the Competence of Experiment and Calibration Laboratories standard, UAF From the Accreditation Agency has been accredited and serves within this framework.
