Clean Room Tests

Clean Room Tests

Production and service activities are mandatory to establish clean rooms in some businesses that threaten the health of employees and other people, such as in operating theaters or laboratories. The main purpose of clean rooms is to prevent the contamination of the products, to prevent the pollution of the environment, to protect people against germs from other people, to protect the environment against germs that will spread and to protect the environment from unhealthy products.

The general requirements for clean rooms are: particle control, temperature and humidity control, pressure control and filtration. Particulate matter in the air plays an important role in the transport of microorganisms. A fine grain of sand is approximately 90 μm in length. However, the particles involved are PM2,5 and PM10. That is, 2,5 and 10 are particles that are smaller than μm.

Ventilation functions in clean rooms consist of temperature and humidity control, microorganism and particle count control, pressure control and waste and toxic gases control. HEPA filters (high efficiency particulate arresting) are used to collect and purify airborne particles. There are generally different types according to the quality. The so-called true HEPA filters can collect airborne particles up to 0,3 percent in size up to 90 μm. Normal HEPA filters are slightly below this ratio.

It is necessary to test whether an area used as a cleanroom has the limit values specified in the standards and whether or not it remains. The basic standard TS EN ISO 14644 is the standard for clean rooms and their controlled environments.

During the environmental test studies, the current legal regulations and the relevant standards published by many domestic and foreign organizations are taken into consideration. In line with the needs of enterprises, our company also conducts clean room tests within the framework of environmental tests.

In the meantime, our organization, in accordance with the TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 General Conditions for the Competence of Experiment and Calibration Laboratories standard, UAF From the Accreditation Agency has been accredited and serves within this framework.
