Wood Testing

Wood Testing

Wood has been the indispensable material of houses and work places since ancient times. The combination of wood and technology, on the one hand facilitated the lives of people, while at the same time providing comfort. Wood technology operates in a very wide range and includes many branches as production and usage.

For example, in the wood furniture branch, wooden materials such as tables, chairs, lockers, armchairs, sofas, bunk beds, school desks and whiteboards, or wooden materials such as parquet, doors and windows are tested. In addition, tests on durability tests in wood beds and load and impact tests on swings are also carried out.

In test and inspection establishments, physical properties of wood and wood based composite materials can be tested and analyzed within the framework of domestic and foreign standards. These works are carried out without damaging the properties of wood materials (non-destructive methods).

Wood tests include solid wood, wood-based materials, and wood panels or glulams used in production (glued to each other by glued wood) and non-structural materials. During these tests, the physical, mechanical and technological properties of wood materials are determined without damaging the material.

Water resistance test, elongation and expansion test of wood materials and fire and combustion behavior tests, such as a series of quality tests are also done.

During specific testing studies, current legal regulations and relevant standards issued by many domestic and foreign organizations are taken into consideration. In accordance with the needs of the enterprises, our company also performs wood tests within the framework of specific tests.

In the meantime, our organization, in accordance with the TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 General Conditions for the Competence of Experiment and Calibration Laboratories standard, UAF From the Accreditation Agency has been accredited and serves within this framework.
