Automotive Tests

Automotive Tests

Automotive is a highly competitive sector which is constantly growing and developing. For this reason, manufacturers and suppliers must always meet safety standards and sustainable quality in their efforts to be successful. Test and inspection organizations must also have detailed knowledge and experience in automotive safety. Generally, the following two standards are used in these studies:

  • TSE ISO / TS 16949 Quality management systems - Special requirements for the implementation of ISO 9001: 2008 for automotive manufacturing and related spare parts manufacturers
  • ISO 26262 Safety standards for vehicles - General situation and general principles

These two standards optimize quality and safety in the automotive industry.

Autotmotive tests, performance, humidity and temperature and durability tests, as well as other chemical tests are performed. All interior trim systems, including lighting and sound systems and door panels, including front panels and seats of cars are tested.

The mechanical properties of the vehicles are tested on the one hand according to the relevant international standards and on the other hand according to the special test methods of the manufacturers.

In the context of automotive material testing of vehicles, the following tests are generally carried out: light and aging tests, material tests, fireproof tests, abrasion resistance tests and salt water corrosion tests. In the context of chemical analytical tests of vehicles, the following tests are generally performed: ELV / SOC tests, VOC tests (Volatile Organic Compounds), phthalate tests, polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) tests.

During the specific test studies, the current regulations and the relevant standards published by many domestic and foreign organizations are taken into consideration. In line with the needs of the enterprises, our company also performs automotive tests within the framework of specific tests.

In the meantime, our organization, in accordance with the TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 General Conditions for the Competence of Experiment and Calibration Laboratories standard, UAF From the Accreditation Agency has been accredited and serves within this framework.
