Dress Tests

Among the clothes produced in the textile sector are those for special use. For example, protective clothing is made for firefighters who are at risk of burning. Or protective clothing is made for workers who have to work in the face of high temperatures. In different sectors, protective clothing is produced for those who are exposed to metal parts due to their work or who work against mechanical influences. Or conductive garments are made for high voltage workers. Besides, diving suits are designed for divers working underwater.

There are standards determined by domestic and foreign organizations for all these special clothes and test works are carried out by the test and inspection institutions in line with the limits and conditions stated in these standards.

Some of these standards can be listed as follows:

  • TS EN 1486 Protective clothing - For firefighters - Specification and test methods for specialist firefighters' clothing
