Conformity certification tests are required within the scope of system certification studies, product certification studies, quality certification studies or food certification studies. For example, within the scope of system certification studies, services are provided for Environmental Management System, Information Security Management System, Customer Satisfaction Management System, Energy Management System, Worker Health and Safety Management System and FSC-COC Forest Management System. Apart from these, other management system services are provided. During these studies, specific test, measurement, analysis and evaluation studies of the relevant management system are carried out.
Testing services for the building sector include not only housing but also power generation facilities, roads, dams, airports, hospitals, factories and all other vital buildings. In this context, soil tests, for example, play an important role. In addition, other test services such as site control, non-destructive inspection control and brick and concrete block analysis are provided within the framework of legal regulations.
According to the Machinery Safety Regulation published by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the machines installed, maintained and used in accordance with the purpose they are manufactured should not harm human health, safety and goods while working. This regulation regulates the basic safety conditions to be followed in the design and production stages and the conformity assessment processes to be followed in order for the machines to be placed on the market. The previous version of the regulation did not include conformity assessment processes and modules. Manufacturers now have to carry out one of the conformity assessment procedures specified in the regulation to certify the suitability of the machines.
The principles of the mentioned Machinery Safety Regulation, household appliances, audio and video devices, basic office machines, information technology devices, low voltage switches and control panels and electric motors, high voltage electrical equipment switches and control devices and various transformer types devices. In addition, physical and physicochemical tests of medical devices (such as acidity-alkalinity determination, conductivity, flow rate, sealing and surface tension tests) and mechanical tests (such as separation force, adhesion strength, compressive strength and bending strength tests) are performed.
Product conformity tests are carried out on a wide range of products, including textile products, food products, various machine groups, electrical and electronic products and many more sectors. Mainly, product conformity tests are conducted to evaluate whether the products and services marketed or demanded by consumers are in line with customer expectations.
Today, thanks to the national governments and non-governmental organizations, sensitivity towards the environment has increased more. The urgent measures to be taken for environmental safety have also been found in legal regulations. Preventing irresponsible and unconscious destruction of nature and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard has been developed to protect the environment. This standard aims to reduce the use of natural resources such as water, air and soil and to prevent damages to natural resources.
