Environmentally Friendly Design Testing and Certification

The regulation on environmentally friendly design of energy-related products has been published by the decision of the Council of Ministers, whereby the power consumption and energy efficiency of electrical and electronic equipment and the desired efficiency are calculated according to energy expenditure. Many criteria are required, including in the ecological cycle. EUROLAB Laboratory supports its customers in testing and certification in this process.
In this respect, the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology has required the necessary certificates for the environmentally friendly design of electrical and electronic devices.
The purpose of this Regulation; to contribute to sustainable development by increasing the energy efficiency, environmental protection level and energy supply security by determining the framework of the conditions that must be complied with in the design of these products in order to introduce the energy related products to the market or put them into service.
Products covered by this Regulation shall be determined by the application communiqués issued by the competent authorities.
Vehicles that are placed on the market or offered for service for the purpose of transporting people and goods are outside the scope of this Regulation.
The provisions of this Regulation shall not apply in cases involving national security and national defense.

In order for the products within the scope of this Regulation to be placed on the market or put into service,
They must bear the “CE” mark that they meet the requirements of the relevant communiqués.
This Communiqué has been prepared within the framework of compliance with the European Union legislation by taking into consideration the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016 / 2282 and dated (25 / 6 / 2012) on Environmentally Responsible Design Requirements for Water Pumps amended by Commission Regulation (EU) 547 / 2012.
The press and pedestrian organizations also provide information about the whole process.
The regulation aims to contribute to sustainable development by increasing the energy efficiency, environmental protection level and energy supply security by defining the framework of the conditions that must be complied with in the design of these products in order to introduce energy-related products to the market or put them into service.
Before the product within the scope of the Regulation is placed on the market or put into service, the CE marking shall be affixed according to the Regulation on the Attachment and Use of the CE Conformity Mark to the Product and an EC declaration of conformity shall be prepared and declared that the manufacturer complies with the provisions of the relevant application communiqués.
In the event of a violation of the provisions of the Regulation and the implementing communiqués, the provisions of Article 4703 of the Law on the Preparation and Implementation of Technical Legislation on Products 12 shall apply.
