Textile Analysis

Textile Analysis

The factories and facilities that produce in the textile sector are trying to produce in a way that keeps customer satisfaction at the highest level. The way to ensure customer satisfaction is through quality production. For this, the products produced must be subjected to a series of quality tests and approved. These tests and analyzes are carried out according to the standards determined by national and international organizations both in production stages and on product basis.

Chemical test and analysis studies for textile products are applied to fabric used in production. The purpose of these tests is to determine whether the fabric is produced as expected, in accordance with the field of use. For example, color fastness tests, determination of mercerization fastness of colors, determination of finish amount, wrinkle control and flammability control are the main chemical analyzes.

On the other hand, physical testing and analysis studies for textile products are aimed to test the strength of the fabrics used in production depending on weaving and weaving quality. For example, tensile strength, tear strength, di̇ki̇ş shiftı strength, return elasticity, pilling, abrasion resistance, accessory tests and fiber tests are the main physical analyzes performed within this framework.

These chemical and physical analyzes are carried out using state-of-the-art and timely calibrated test devices without compromising the generally accepted criteria and standard conditions such as humidity and temperature.

Textile production processes mainly cover production and finishing processes. Production processes include fiber production, yarn production, weaving processes, knitting processes and obtaining a fabric with a nonwoven structure. The processes such as dyeing, printing and finishing of the obtained fabric are the processes of finishing the fabric. The raw material in textile production is fiber or fiber. The yarn is produced by applying different methods according to the properties of the fiber or fiber and then fabric is obtained by weaving or knitting processes.

In addition to fiber properties, yarn structure, fabric construction and finishing processes determine the performance of textile products. The type of yarn that determines the fabric structure affects the durability, appearance and, of course, ease of use of the fabric. The durability of the yarn directly affects the strength of the fabric. The appearance of the fabric depends on factors such as being draped, touching, creasing resistance and constant dimensions. These considerations contribute to the performance of the individual fabric. Heat transfer of the fabric is also one of the main comfort properties of textile products. Yarn structure is a determining factor in the thermal properties of the fabric. Fabrics woven with yarn obtained from staple fibers retain more air and are resistant to heat transfer.

Like many test and inspection organizations, our company provides a range of measurement, testing, analysis, inspection and control services within the context of textile analysis. The main services provided within this scope are:

  • Physical tests
  • Fastness tests
