Physical Tests

Physical Tests

Physical testing and analysis for textile products are two-way. On the one hand, the strengths of the fabrics used in production depend on the weaving and weaving quality are tested and analyzed, while on the other hand the properties of the fibers and fibers used in the weaving are analyzed and tested.

Quality of products in textile sector, determines the quality and durability of the material used. This is determined by measuring and analyzing different values of many properties. Among the numerous physical tests performed in this sense, the major tests are: tear strength, tear strength, burst strength, seam slip and seam opening strength, pile holding strength, return elasticity, pilling and feather strength, abrasion resistance, fabric weight, fabric density , fabric hardness, fabric thickness, length measurement of fabric, weaving shape, yarn count, yarn twist, color measurement, whiteness index, water permeability, air permeability, stain retention, drapability, zipper tests, button strength, snap tests, accessory tensile strength and yarn tenacity. In fact, these tests are also differentiated according to different methods.

The required properties of the fabric are provided by the properties of the yarns, which are the foundation stone of the fabric. The yarns are formed by bringing the fibers together. Therefore, at first glance, although the fiber or fiber properties seem to reflect the properties of the fabric completely, weaving or knitting techniques applied to the fabric are also very effective in determining the properties of the fabric. In addition to yarn densities, the intersection or knitting pattern is decisive in converting yarn properties into fabric properties.

Besides the basic properties such as strength, smooth surface, elasticity, thinness and covering, which provide the use of the fabric as a textile material, there are many different features that determine the appearance and the behavior under different usage conditions.

Our organization, UAF From the Accreditation Agency, Based on its accreditation authority in accordance with TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard, it conducts physical tests within the scope of textile analyzes.
