Chemical / Ecological Tests

Today more than one hundred thousand chemicals are known and half of them are used in industry. About three thousand of the known chemical substances have harmful properties. Some of the harmful chemicals around 200 are dangerous to human health and cause cancer.

The magnitude of the danger to human life is evident because many of these chemicals do not have physical properties that are distinctive by their smell and color. Exposure to these chemicals may occur unintentionally. Moreover, since some of these chemicals have their effects after many years, the risks to be encountered in time are not known even if the chemicals used in the industry are not considered dangerous.

Unfortunately, we do not know exactly how many chemicals used in industry affect the health and ecological system of employees and users.

400 million tonnes of chemicals are used annually, especially when it comes to food additives, pesticides in agriculture, medical and veterinary medicines, cleaning materials and various fuels used in energy production. It is increasingly used.

Today, the most important issue in terms of human health and ecological balance, while working with chemicals, using them, producing, transporting, storing and destroying after use is to manage well.

Various chemical and ecological tests are carried out by test and inspection organizations. Here are a few of them: heavy metals, toxic metals, total lead content, chromium (VI) determination, cadmium determination in plastics, banned azo dyestuffs, primary aromatic amines, allergic disperse dyestuffs, carcinogenic disperse dyestuffs, pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls, formaldehyde determination, BHT content , phthalates, PAHs, dimethylfumarate determination.
